I haven't posted a life painting for a while.
Here's one of Stephanie that I did just before Christmas.
With one thing and another, I have missed a lot of the Thursday life sessions, but I had a good full day's painting yesterday.
I also love that touch of red. I admire the entire painting and the breaking down of planes, but with only few strokes you've captured a very elegant pair of feet.
Many thanks Amal, but the creator of that piece was my friend James Hanley......I agree about the painting and his breaking the image down in planes. All the best PJ
Of course, I knew that... I'm one big admirer of your work(must have given every new-born in NY a copy of the Bee-Man of Orn), and really appreciate your blog, many thanks for all you've given to the illustration world.
Thanks for that Amal. I looked at your blog, and I really like your work too. Many thanks also for buying up all those copies of The Beeman of Orn. Best wishes PJ
