"Oscar Wilde: Stories for Children" still a bestseller

When I was up visiting Niamh at Hodges Figgis it was nice to see my "Oscar Wilde; Stories for Children" book is still in the bestsellers charts twenty two years after publication.
Below are some paintings from the book.

I've had the Oscar Wilde book for years--it's exquisite--but so is everything you do. I just watched some awful movie "inspired by" (more like "that butchered") O. Henry's The Gift of the Magi--I immediately had to go read the original, in the edition illustrated with your amazing evocative art. A picture is worth a thousand words, but even better is the complementing of words with the perfect illustration.

I love your illustrations Mr Lynch, you are such an inspiration to me, because of you I wrote and illustrated my first story, I hope to find a kind publisher for my story next year!
Thank you!

Your illustrations are incredible and the children in our classroom are completely fascinated by them. The rocket is too perfect.

Thanks for the great work.

The dead giant lying on the ground, covered by flowers, was AMAZING. I lost the photo i took of it, years ago
