A Busy Week for Exhibitions

Tuesday night was the opening of the RHA’s annual open submission show.
It was a great occasion and a lot of folks were very kind about the two pictures (above) that I have in the exhibition.

Wednesday saw the opening of the RUA’s War On Want Charity show at the Ormeau Baths gallery in Belfast. I have a picture (below) in that exhibition too, and I was delighted to hear from the organizers that it was the first to sell when the catalogues were sent out.

Many thanks Sue and Sadami.
Re Tony multitasking....we wouldn't let him turn the page so he was really just listening to the iPod. I don't mind him doing that but he does tend to hum along with the music .
Glad you both liked the work.
Regards
PJ

I'm staring and studying hard your use of color- a simple palette that brings everything to life. Composition must be second nature to you because I've a sense that everything sits where it MUST. As if figures and objects just grew out of these spaces. I also get this from your pbs. I've watched your videos and know you take time to set up a scene, but the flow you create w/images feels too natural to be hard worked. The Fred Astaire flair!

Also nice to see that one piece went to the War on Want. Wonderful. Thank you.

I bought "Daughter of Eve" in Belfast. It has been widely admired by all that have seen it, it's a wonderful piece.
