Group Exhibition in Belfast

Here is a recent oil painting that I did for an IGI group exhibition that's now showing at the Ormeau Baths Gallery in Belfast.
Our brief was to select a favourite painting and to do our own version of it.
I've always loved Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring" and so here was a nice opportunity to pay an homage to that great Dutch master.
And I made a little movie showing how I painted the picture.

Upon looking at this painting I thought it looked somewhat familiar. Great homage! PJ you have a lot of experience in children's publishing, in your opinion what does the market want or need right now?

Sorry I feel I must introduce myself a little. The Bee Man of Orn was the first book of yours that I saw. Amazing. Since then I have enjoyed looking at your gallery, blog and other books.
